March 26 is Purple Day. Each year Epilepsy WA organises for landmarks across WA to shine purple in a bid to raise awareness of epilepsy and show support for West Aussies living with epilepsy and sadly too, in memory of loved ones lost to epilepsy.

We are proud to share that this year, we have another record-breaking number of landmarks that have pledged to light up for Purple Day 2026 with an incredible 63 landmarks across WA shining brightly to raise awareness of epilepsy.

We encourage our community to view the “Purple Lights 4 Epilepsy WA” in a safe manner and we ask you to please bear in mind, that whilst these landmarks have pledged to illuminate, we cannot guarantee that all landmarks will be able to do so, as planned. Occasionally factors outside their control, such as technical failures do sometimes occur.

Please note this is not a manned event. The lights are best viewed when it is dark.

We currently have 63* landmarks that have pledged to light up on Purple Day – 26 March 2026:
