Our annual virtual step challenge – Step 4 Epilepsy WA – takes place each September and our mission is to collectively walk 25 million steps for the 1 in 25 West Aussies that will be diagnosed with epilepsy. Participants from all over WA are encouraged to register to join us and walk 10,000 steps a day or set a personal goal.
By stepping up and participating, you’re helping to bring epilepsy out of the shadows and you are supporting your local epilepsy association, which has been on the ground and working hard in WA for over 60 years.
This event aims to increase public understanding of epilepsy and will make a significant and meaningful difference. Funds raised will help Epilepsy WA to continue providing vital support services for the WA community.
Dance, walk, run or roll your way through September, raising awareness and vital funds with every step. Participants raising $150 or more will receive a free t-shirt and our highest fundraiser will win a trip to Broome!*
