Epilepsy WA is bringing its highly regarded Epilepsy and Seizure First Aid training to Bunbury on 10 June 2026, offering local community members and professionals the opportunity to build essential skills and confidence in responding to seizures.

When a seizure occurs, the actions of the first person on the scene can make a significant difference. This training is designed to ensure participants feel prepared, informed, and confident in providing safe and effective support to someone living with epilepsy.

Training Overview

The Bunbury session will include two modules:

  • Exploring Epilepsy & Seizure First Aid (10:00am – 11:00am)
An introduction to epilepsy, seizure types, and appropriate first aid responses.
  • Emergency Anti-Seizure Medication Administration (11:00am – 12:00pm)
Practical guidance on administering emergency medication in line with best practice.

Please note that the Exploring Epilepsy & Seizure First Aid module must be completed before attending the Emergency Anti-Seizure Medication Administration module. Participants may attend the first session only, or both sessions consecutively; however, the second session cannot be attended on its own.
