Children’s Book Library
Epilepsy WA offers a free loan library featuring children’s books that help children with epilepsy, their siblings, and classmates to understand about epilepsy and seizures. These books may help to reduce fear, trauma, and stigma.
These books may be useful for children living with seizures, their friends, or siblings and children who are witnessing a parent or a loved one having seizures.
Epilepsy WA recommends that parents read any book they borrow, prior to passing it on to their child, to assess the suitability of the book.
This is a free service which can be accessed in person (by appointment) or through the post. We request books are returned to Epilepsy WA within one month of loan.

Epilepsy WA thanks Telethon for helping to make this free loan program possible.
Epilepsy WA Story Time Trailer
Thanks to Telethon we now have online story time sessions available to help WA children who are experiencing or witnessing seizures or who are impacted by an epilepsy diagnosis, to remove feelings of fear that they may experience and to help normalise testing and treatment regimes. These stories help children to embrace their unique differences and that of their peers.
