March 26 is Purple Day. Each year Epilepsy WA organises for landmarks across WA to shine purple in a bid to raise awareness of epilepsy and show support for West Aussies living with epilepsy and sadly too, in memory of loved ones lost to epilepsy.
Please note this is not a manned event.
The sights are best viewed when it is dark.
We encourage our community to view the “Purple Lights 4 Epilepsy WA” in a safe manner and we ask you to please bear in mind, that whilst these landmarks have pledged to illuminate, we cannot guarantee that all landmarks will be able to do so, as planned. Occasionally factors outside their control, such as technical failures do sometimes occur.
Purple Lights 4 Epilepsy WA is thrilled to announce a record-breaking number of landmarks pledged to light up for Purple Day 2025! An incredible 57 landmarks across WA will shine brightly to raise awareness for epilepsy. We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support from these iconic locations, helping to spread awareness and make a difference in the lives of those affected by epilepsy.
All 57 landmarks are listed below.
