It’s time to dust off the running shoes and register for the 2023 Walk for Epilepsy in support of Epilepsy WA’s 60th anniversary.

We invite you to join us from the 1-25 October and walk, run, or cycle towards your target, in support for the 1 in 25 Australians who will be diagnosed with epilepsy.

The Walk for Epilepsy is a fantastic way to enjoy WA’s fabulous spring weather and bring epilepsy out of the shadows, by raising awareness and helping to fundraise for your local epilepsy organisation.

We are excited to share that former Richmond Tigers footy legend and WA born and bred, Neil Balme is the National Ambassador for the Walk for Epilepsy. Like many Epilepsy Warriors, Neil’s diagnosis came as a shock as there was no family history. Today, through medication, Neil has his seizures under control and is eager to share his experience with epilepsy and do what he can to support others living with epilepsy.

The Walk for Epilepsy takes place entirely online, which allows you to take part from anywhere and walk, run, or cycle whenever suits you. By taking part and raising funds, you will have a very real impact on people living with epilepsy and help to ensure that funds are raised to continue Epilepsy WA’s vital service.

So register today, rally up your team and get walking today for Team WA!
