Epilepsy Grief and Loss Support
Epilepsy WA provides support to those who have lost a loved one to epilepsy.
We have an in memory tree in our office and we can place a ribbon, in loving memory of them. We also have a special in memory book where we place photos of those members of our community who are no longer with us.
We can connect you with grief and loss support services and also with others who have experienced the death of a loved one due to epilepsy.
Our CEO, Nurse and Compassionate Ear Volunteer are here to chat, to share a cuppa and to answer any questions you may have. We have a staff member who has experienced the loss of a family member due to epilepsy, and we can assist in helping to ease the path to accessing grief related support services.
We can provide you details of the international epilepsy deaths register and connect you with a UK charity that is dedicated to providing information and support to anyone, anywhere, who has experienced the loss of a family member, due to SUDEP or other epilepsy or seizure-related causes.
We hold events each year, to remember loved ones lost to epilepsy, and we can work with you to create a lasting tribute.
