Epilepsy WA relies heavily upon public donations to provide essential epilepsy support services for the 1 in 25 who will be diagnosed with epilepsy and their loved ones.

Epilepsy WA was founded in 1963 and provides the widest array of epilepsy support services for the WA community, including a state-wide helpline, a large network of monthly nurse facilitated support groups, a free seizure-alert loan program, epilepsy training, patient seminars/webinars, a compassionate ear listening service, a seizure technology display, injury and risk reduction planning and awareness-raising activities. Epilepsy WA’s office is conveniently located near to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Perth Children’s Hospital in Nedlands.

Support Groups
We provide professionally facilitated peer-to-peer epilepsy support groups in Nedlands, Armadale, Midland, Joondalup, Bunbury and online.
Schools Program
We offer schools the opportunity to become recognised by Epilepsy WA. Train beyond seizure first aid and raise awareness of epilepsy at your school or childcare centre.
Webinars & Conference Days
We produce free online webinars and run periodic seminars and conference days featuring top experts.
SUDEP & Risk Reduction
We provide information to raise awareness of SUDEP and how to reduce risk of epilepsy related harm.
