Fund Raising

24-Aug-2016

We are now only a few days away from the City to Surf Run here in Perth. The Stephen Angel's team will be running to honour the memory of Stephen Burns who passed away earlier this year. He passed away due to SUDEP (Sudden Unexplained Death due to Epilepsy). His parents have decided to donate all moneys raised to us here at Epilepsy Association of Western Australia Inc, so as to allow us to do the work we do. As a number of you would be well aware we, as an association, receive absolutely no funding from the Health or Disability Services department. However, paying $500k a month in compensation to a private sector parking services firm seems to come easy to them. There are 24,500 people with Epilepsy in WA and they deserve a voice to advocate for them. If you can help with the fund raising by the Stephen's Angels team please consider it. Thank you
